1. At Unilabs Teleradiology, only the best people ensure your need for Quality
Radiologists at Unilabs Teleradiology are not just any radiologists. We only hire those who are dedicated, and passionate about radiology.
Once they are on board, they quickly become top experts because they can develop a tremendous amount of in-depth expertise in the subspecialty that interests them the most. Our experience has taught us that this is an inspiring environment which facilitates their knowledge in an almost organic way. Hence our Reading Center is a center of excellence where a full-time radiologist can produce thousands of reports per annum!
Of course, our radiologists are not the only people who contribute to the high quality of our services. As Unilabs Teleradiology is a patient-driven (and customer-driven) organisation, every member of our staff who contributes to our services must meet our high quality demands. This applies not only to our administrative staff and management, but also to the top editors who review each report linguistically in their mother tongue before it is ever sent out.
Last but not least, we want to stress that all our radiology experts possess the necessary licences in line with local legislations (e.g. GMC licences for the UK) and that their qualifications are registered and accredited EU-wide.

It’s pretty logical, actually. If we only hire top radiologists, who excel at their profession, we have to provide them with equally excellent equipment. Because there’s no point in having 20/20 vision if you’re looking at a blurry picture.
That is why the pioneers of Unilabs Teleradiology were the first to invest in state-of-the-art equipment such as PACS (by Agfa), a digital Picture Archiving and Communication System. In the meantime, we have established a very close partnership with the medical division of Agfa Europe.
Once more we would stress that, although the Agfa PACS system is a key element that allows us to provide our customers with the best possible expertise, our quality approach regarding equipment goes all the way.
We use only the most recent diagnostic workstations and fiber access lines.
Moreover, the quality of the actual data is ensured by using the DICOM standard for images (lossless compression) and the HL7 standard for clinical information. Furthermore, the security of the actual data which is transmitted is ensured by means of an IPSEC secure VPN which provides the highest possible guarantees in terms of integrity, encryption and authentication.
